Aldridge has been appointed general manager and a director of the AC-Delco division of General Motors Ltd. He succeeds Charles N. Fauleonitridge, who is retiring after nearly 40 years' service with the company, the last 13 as AC-Delco's general manager. Mr. Aldridge has worked for Vauxhall Motors Ltd. in Dunstable and Luton for nearly 30 years. He was production manager of Vauxhall's Bedford truck factory in Dunstable from December 1957 and production manager of the Vauxhall Luton plant from September 1962.

G. T. Pollard (Tate and Lyle Transport Ltd.) has been re-elected chairman of the TRTA highways and traffic committee.

Atkinson Lorries (Holdings) Ltd. chairman, W. G. Allen, has resigned after 34 years' active participation in the Group, and has accepted an invitation to be honorary president. He is succeeded as chairman by his son, Antony W. Allen, former deputy chairman.

Bennett has been appointed operatii officer, BRS Parcels Ltd. following appointment of N. H. J. Kevan as tra manager. Mr. Bennett, 40, was previon Birmingham branch manager and his succ sor is P. J. D. Gibbs, 51, previously mana of the South Yardley branch.
