Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Within minutes of pulling up at our overnight parking spot just outside Scania's main factory the eXc had attracted a host of drivers anxious to look around. And with seven of them standing up inside it still wasn't crowded! One driver of the distinctly large type climbed in and immediately declared: "This is the first time I've ever been able to stand up in a Topline..."

There's enough room to swing a family of cats—even with the table folded out. Never has it been so easy to take off your trousers in a cab! And the abundance of storage space means that your living room is clear and uncluttered. Whether sitting on the bed or on the small armchair there was plenty of room to stretch your legs. And the lighting combination ensures you're not left in the dark either.

Lying down in eXc, there's none of the claustrophobic feeling you get with other sleeper cabs—even big high

roof ones. There's so much headroom over the bed the feeling of space and airiness is great. We've slept in hotel rooms that were not only smaller but also considerably less welcoming.

The curtains could have been better: the

standard drapes alone around the windscreen let in a fair amount of light, as does the large skylight over the living area. However, lobe fair this is a prototype and we'd expect a full production version to be more light-tight—or at least to have an electric blind over the top vent.

Yet for all that, it certainly didn't stop us having a good night's sleep—the Ikea mattress was extremely comfortable. The only time we woke up was when the outside temperature dropped to around freezing. However, having fired up the heater we promptly went back to sleep. The speed with which the big cab warmed up was certainly impressive.

Were it not for the fact that the previous driver who'd slept in eXc had set the alarm for 6:30 we'd have had a decent lie-in! But oh, the sheer pleasure of being able to sit up and swing your legs around off the bed, place them on a fiat floor and stand up without bashing your head. The only depressing thought was that we had to get back behind the wheel and do some work,
