• Dennis Specialist Vehicles has opened a 930m2 customer service centre in Bristol to cover fire appliance and bus operators in the South-West and Wales.
• Hanson Transport is buying six new Mercedes 814s with Aluvan aluminium box van bodywork for its home delivery service.
• Seddon Atkinson is supplying the Hong Kong government with more than £3m worth of refuse collection vehicles. The rigids and tractors will be accompanied by 13 Norba-built trailers with refuse bodies and bin-lifts.
