Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MAKING its debut at the Scottish Motor Show this week is the " Jumbo " 6x4 MAN tractive unit designed for operation at 100 tons gew.

It is called the 38.330 FA and the power unit is a naturally aspirated VIO engine which develops 246kW (330 bhp) at 2500 rpm with the maximum torque of 1030 Nm (7601bft) coming in at 1400 rpm.

The transmission incor porates a semi-automatic ZF 5K 110 gearbox and hub reduction axles with inter axle differentials. The kingpin loading is 28 tons.

Dual-circuit full-air braking plus an exhaust brake and two line trailer system are fitted. The rear suspension is by a combination of twin, trunnion-mounted semi-elliptic leaf springs and radius rods.

The detail specification includes a hoist loading spare wheel carrier mounted high behind the cab and full length support sub-frame for the coupling gear and front and rear towing attachments. The forward control tilt cab is fitted with sliding doors to facilitate c on tr ol when manoeuvring. Each door has a safety locking device. The MAN is also available in drawbar form for 150 tons gcw operation.
