SEVERAL new traffic signs were introduced on Monday this week. Included in these are new junction signs showing road priorities, loose chippings, an international symbol denoting the start of a motorway and a new octagonal STOP sign sponsored by the United Nations.
Illustrations of the new signs together with all those current in the UK are contained in a new publication Know Your Traffic Signs which will be available from HMSO next month. A new traffic signs wall chart is available from RoSPA, Royal Oak Centre, Brighton Road, Purley, Surrey.
