Not as well known perhaps for its forklifts as it is for its other handling products its telescopic loaders, for example Manitou still boasts a comprehensive range.
Among its most interesting machines is the four-wheeldrive articulated MA 460/470. With a capacity of either 6.0 tonnes or 7.0 tonnes, depending on the version you select, it comes with hydrostatic transmission and a 4.4-litre Perkins diesel that produces 101hp.
At the other end of the weight scale, Manitou also markets battery-powered 48V forklifts that are capable of hoisting 1.5, 1.6, 1.8 or 2.0 tonnes.
The line-up also includes diesel and LPG-driven models with capacities ranging from 2.0 tonnes upwards.
