Online hammer for Jungheinrich forklifts

FORKLIFT TRUCK-MAKER Jungheinrich is to sell off 250 used forklifts in a special webbased online auction, organised in conjunction with auction specialist Wignall Brownlow. Auction items include reach trucks, diesel-, gasand electric-powered counterbalanced forklifts and powered pallet trucks.

Operators locking to register an interest in the sale should visit www.wignallbrownlow. co.uk, where the trucks can be viewed and an auction catalogue can be downloaded. The auction will close on 9 July at 4pm.

Equipment going under the 'virtual hammer' ranges from cleaned; serviced and painted machines to fully refurbished models

from Jungheinrich's 'Ready To Go' collection, which have been rebuilt at its used truck refurbishment centre in Germany.

"Since trucks in our 'Ready To Go range are rebuilt to the same high quality at the Dresden facility, the operating costs will be the same as a new model, which means that these fully refurbished models will give many years of efficient and productive service," says Neil Warren, Jungheinrich UK's used equipment and short-term rental director.

Prospective bidders also have the option of seeing the machines by visiting Jungheinrich's used equipment showrooms around the UK, where the trucks will be on display. For more information go to www. jungheinrich.co.uk • See CM's 2009 forklift truck guide on pages 40-45.
