Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Yet another driver has had his heavy goods driving licence given back to him after the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency had revoked it on medical grounds.

Commercial Motor has been following the case of John Morrell of Coppull, nr Chorley, Lancs, as part of our Loss of Licence campaign. He previously worked for Edmondson Freightliners of Morecambe but lost his licence last September because he had a nervous breakdown in 1974 and has occasionally taken medication for depression since then.

Morrell has now been promised that his licence will be given back to him and that his legal costs, amounting to about £300, will be paid by the DVLA.
