Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

erHE Gas Light and Coke Co. has I just placed in service the interesting vehicle illustrated on this page. Its basis is a Thornycroft Sturdy ZE/TC4 chassis, with a 12,ft. wheelbase. The body, which was constructed by Glover, Webb and • Liversidge, Ltd., 561, Old Kent Road, London, S.E.1, is built on similar lines to vehicles which are being operated in America.

The design enables the vehicle to be used during the winter months for coke deliveries, and in the summer for the transport of gas stoves and similar equipment. The illustration of the rear of the vehicle shows how the roof may be entirely removed, leaving the sides of the body in position. During service it has been found that the aides have no tendency to spring outwards, largely due to the composite timber and flitch-plate construction.

Rows of four.sacks are carried on the floor, and three rider sacks on top of them, these protruding through the opening in the roof; in this way four tons of coke can be carried.

. For deliveries of gas stoves and other equipment the body may be converted in approximately six minutes
