ONE OF THE first independ bus routes to operate in Lonc for many years is expected to launched next month.
The route, between Thorn1 Heath Ponds and New Ai ington is the product of Lond coach operator, The Londone The firm hopes to use thi vehicles on the service wh will run hourly, with one vehi providing a half hourly serv between Thornton Heath a Purley.
Until a demand has be established the firm initia plans to use 11m Ford coach and subject to a satisfactc route survey, London Transpâ– has already agreed to allow it run the service.
The Londoners hope that will be allowed to operate tl service for a three-month tr period to establish public d mand.
