ALL-WHEEL-control has been made available for any petrolengined Bedford CF, and the designers, FF Developments Ltd of Siskin Drive, Coventry, claim that the CF-FF can cope with the most arduous conditions, giving increased traction at all times — on or off the road.
Other benefits are said to reduce tyre wear and completely eliminate tyre scrub, although the constantly engaged fourwheel-drive may marginally increase fuel consumption.
The conversion, approved by Vauxhall Motors, does not affect chassis warranty and costs £3,630 at present but will be increased by £365 from April 1.
