TWENTY-FIVE members of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers from the Carlisle area are to visit West Germany in April to investigate the testing and production of friction materials.
During its four-day stay, the party will be the guests of Beral, the German manufacturer of brake and clutch linings and disc pads.
The visit will include a tour of Beral's manufacturing plant and research laboratories in Marienheide, 80km (50 miles) east of Bonn.
