DECIDING that double barriers for bus queues are dangerous, Nottingham Transport Committee are to remove six of seven erected. Double barriers have been found disadvantageous where stopping places provide for several services.
There have also been instances, in other parts of the country, where vehicles have collided with waiting queues; it is thought that single barriers give a better chance of escape.
