RIG DROP IN NEW REGISTRATIONS

R"'s-rRATIONS of new vehicles for 1951, excluding cars and motorcycles, showed a drop of over 12,000 as compared with the figure for the

previons year. All categories were affected, with the exception of " exempt vehicles," which increased by 1,173. Hackneys were down by 3,574 and " other goods" by 4,847. The total for 1951 was 140,807, compared with 153,226 for 1950. Details are given in the table below.
