Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE second edition of the Goods 1. Vehicle Yearbook, which is now available from Modern Transport Publishing Co. Ltd., 3-16 Woburn Place, London, W.C.1, at 25s. post free, has been considerably enlarged.

There is now a 32-page feature dealing with goods vehicle law covering such aspects as construction, use, special type vehicles, employment, records and licensing. Another addition is a buyers' catalogue of goods vehicles, comprising motive units, trailers arid electric vehicles. Associated with this section is a comprehensive list of manufacturers of vehicles, engines, gearboxes, trailers, bodies, corn ponents and materials handling equipment.

The existing features have also been enlarged and the section devoted to haulage now includes details of 1,400 fleets. Similarly, the number of traders' transport fleets is now 1,800. In both cases the names of the chief executives together with the strength and type of fleet are given. Following these two lists in alphabetical order, the same information is rearranged by counties.

Other information given in this year book relates. to fleets of nationalized undertakings, addresses of organizations connected with road transport, together with an introductory feature on engin eering developments. S.B.
