nUNDEE transport committee has
remitted to the manager, Mr. W. L. Russell, a proposal that the employees in the department be given an incentive bonus of El for good time-keeping and diligence in collecting fares.
The committee takes the view that any bonus should be based on productivity and perhaps directly on the amount of fares collected by the -staff rather than be granted on an indefinite basis as proposed. The matter now lies with the transport manager and the T.G.W.U. to each a satisfactory basis.
