Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LAST Saturday, what was believed to be the first Continental semi-trailer to arrive in this country with a load was disembarked at Tilbury with pumps and spare parts urgently required for the M.S. " Mosborg," a Norwegian tanker which sailed from Liverpool on Monday.

The semi-trailer, which had a fourin-line rear axle, was loaded with 12 tons of machinery at Hengelo, Holland, at 8 p.m. on Thursday of last week and travelled across the Channel by the Transport Ferry Service. The ferry boat berthed at Tilbury from Antwerp on Saturday morning and an Atkinson tractor of I. Leftley, Ltd., Barking, collected the semi-trailer,. owned by Messrs. H. W. Konig, Rotterdam.

Customs clearance was quick, the Tilbury authorities allowing the sealed load to pass through for examination at Liverpool. The outfit left Tilbury at 10.30 a.m., arriving at Liverpool at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Future loads may not comprise individually sealed cases, but, at the suggestion of the Customs authorities, cases may be covered by a sealed tarpaulin.

_ Formalities concerning the licensing of the vehicle were also speedily effected with -the co-operation of the Ministry of Transport. It was hoped to obtain a return load for the semitrailer, which is due to return to Holland today.
