THE number of C-licence vehicles on the road increased by 30,333 during the first three months of this year. Figures showing the C-licence totals at the end of March reveal an increase of 72,107 over the figure for the corresponding period last • year.
In the first three months of the year the number of operators went up by 20,366, bringing the total to , 40,567 more than in March last year. Changes in C-licence fleets and owners are given in the following table:
