This was originally purchased new by a Swedish transport company, then sold to a Norwegian owner-driver who ran the truck throughout Europe until the late 80s. After his death, it was retained by the family and kept in storage. The truck was purchased by Charles Russell from the second owner in late 2005 and it underwent a thorough restoration, but all major components were retained, making the truck very original. Great care was taken to ensure only period features were fitted, and as a result the truck is considered to be one of the very finest early V8 Scanias in existence.
