I ENTIRELY agree with the sentiments expressed by Geoff Tumbull in his letter about how angry he was at Lord Alan Sugar saying that engineers are bad at business (CM 23 June).
I served my apprenticeship in the CV motor industry commencing in 1963, progressing to vehicle sales in 1970.
In 1981 I started my own business, R K Trucks Centre, which presently represents one of the leading world truck manufacturers in Northern Ireland. Sugar seems to have adopted the old adage "the working class can kiss my a*** I've got the foreman's job at last".
