Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

HAS ANYONE heard anything about any European countries scrapping the Driver CPC?

I am not against the Driver CPC for drivers who are just starting out in a career in haulage. It is good for them to know the laws and how to secure different loads, but for somebody like myself and thousands more who have been doing the job correctly for almost 30 years, without a drivers hours' or load safety offence against us, it's rather unfair.

I have had people giving us quotes for the course, and when I ask them how many years driving experience they have, they tell me they don't hold an LGV licence. How can they possibly tell people how to load a lorry safely or about weight limits? I would like to hear other people's thoughts on this subject.
