A SUPERGRASS HAS been found guilty of murdering a haulage boss with the sole aim of using his freight company as a front for importing drugs.

Career criminal Ken Regan murdered millionaire Amarjit Chohan with the help of William Homey and Peter Rees.

Regan and Horncy then murdered Chohan's wife, her mother and their two children in an effort to cover their tracks. Regan had hoped to take over the fruit importing and exporting business, CIBA Freight in London, and would have been successful had Chohan's brother-in-law in New Zealand not raised the alarm.

The Old Bailey heard how Regan lured Chohan to Stonehenge and then held him for several days. He was forced to sign papers stating he had passed over the business to Regan, before he was murdered. When Regan turned up at CIBA Freight in Southall a few days later, the staff believed that Chohan had fled abroad, taking his family with him (CM 11 November 2004).

Richard Horwell, prosecuting, told the court: "Some crimes are beyond belief; these horrific murders fall into that category."
