The company operates tanker wash factities at its main sites on Merseyside and Humberside. These provide hot and cold water tank-cleaning; air-filtered blow drying; sanitised/sterilised cleaning; steam heating facilities and external vehicle washing.
During the past year ART has received envi ronmental accreditation ISO14001 and the company aims to reduce its overall carbon emissions by 10% within the next two years.
Granite says: We are always looking at new ways to be more efficient and a recent innovation has been to use recycled water for the second wash cycle in our truck washing facility."
