THE Particular weighing syster which enables bulk tanker loai of powdered granular produc to be divided into individu batches for separate delivery, to be introduced into the UK I Atlas Equipment (London) Ltd.
Its weighing head ar printout unit can be incorp rated into existing road tanke and weighing itself is carried o in a special container with capacity of 2.5cum (88cuft), su pended from an outrigger on ti main tank or mounted on separate solid frame to ensu that a vertical self-emptyir position is maintained.
In transit, the weighing syste is isolated from the main tank avoid damage.
An electro-mechanical stra gauge unit is claimed to produ, weighing accuracy to within or per cent, power requiremen are met by the vehicle battery.
For delivery, the main tank pressurised and the granules a pneumatically fed to tlweighing unit. Once the pre-d termined quantity is reached, snap valve closes automatical isolating the weighing contain from the main tank which is thr itself pressurised to transfer ti consignment to the customei storage container.
All deliveries are record( with a printout which acts as statement of goods delivered.
