NATIONAL BUS deputy chief executive Frank Pointon left the company on January 31, by mutual consent. Mr Pointon, who also was board member for external affairs, has been with NBC since its formation in 1969, and for 20 years before that he was with British Electric Traction which sold its British bus interests to NBC. He was general manager of Hebble and East Midland, before becoming a BET director in 1960, five years before his appointment as chairman of Potteries Motor Traction.
