David Selby, 19, apprentice refinisher with Harrogate Motors Ltd and student at Jacob Kramer College, Leeds, has won the 1974 Apprentice Refinisher of the Year Award sponsored jointly by the Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association and Berger Paints. He received a silver trophy and cheques for £90.

Ian Wanless has beer' appointed fleet sales manager for the Scotts of Nottingham Ltd Group. For the past nine years he has held positions within the Seddon/Atkinson division of the Group.
