MR. H. T. CARR, acting publicity officer of London Transport, has retired
after 40 years' service. Mr. H. F. HUTCHISON took up his duties as publicity officer on February 3.
MR. M. W. ELDRIDGE, of the export division of Leyland Motors, Ltd., is on a tour of the Netherlands, where he will contact Dutch operators. Mr. Eldridge deals with the company's European and Scandinavian exports.
Ma-. F. S. TAYLOR, deputy general manager of Newcastle-on-Tyne Corporation's transport undertaking, has been appointed honorary secretary of the Northern Area of the Municipal Passenger Transport Association.
