THE eighth International Manage' ment Congress is to be held in Stockholm from July 3 to 8 under the
auspices of the International Committee of Scientific. Management. Arrange ments for British participants are in the hands of the British Management Council, 15, George Street, Mansion House, London, E.C.4.
This Congress will provide the first , post-war opportunity for many British executives to compare, with their own experience, the developments in management technique. which have occurred in other countries.
The three plenary sessions of the Congress will be devoted to the philosophy and application of scientific management; regional and local planning in modern society; industrial relations and the responsibilities of management and labour. There will also be 14 sectional meetings on appropriate subjects, and a programme of works visits and tours of general interest.
