THE next Commercial Motor Exhibition will be held in new accommodation at Earl's Court, London, S.W.5, from November 4-12, 1937.

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders has approved the Used Motor Show, Royal Agricultural Hall, London, from April 25 to May 9, for the display of motor vehicles, caravans, trailers and motor boats, subject to their not having been in use before October 25, 1935, The organizer is William Glass, Ltd., 20, Grosvenor Gardens, London, S.W.1.

The following national agricultural shows are approved for the exhibit of all types of commercial motor complete with bodywork, and of commercial trailers, and are open for the direct participation of vehicle makers or concessionnaires:—Royal Ulster Agricultural Show, Belfast, May 27-30; Royal Highland Agricultural Show, Melrose, June 23-26; Royal Agricultural Show of England, Bristol, June 30-July 4; Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, Abergele, July 22-24.

Other agricultural shows are sanctioned, subject to certain conditions, for the display of commercial and utility vehicles for agricultural purposes, including travelling shops, weighing not more than 24 tons, commercial trailers not for towing by private cars and having a platform area of over 30 sq. ft., of independent or articulated patterns within the weight limit of 2i tons, if shown independently of any tractive unit, cattle trucks and horseboxes to meet the requirements of the Transit of Animals Order, and without _limitation of weight.

At bona-fide horse shows (other than at Olympia) and subject to certain conditions, the display of horseboxes to meet .the aforementioned Order and without limitation of weight.

The conditions are that the display may not be conducted by the maker or concessionnaire direct, or otherwise than by a distributor, dealer, or body or trailer builder. Details must be notified by the maker or concessionnaire at least one month before the opening.

The consent does not apply to special types of vehicle, such as pantechnicons, breakdown and municipal vehicles.

The Society of Irish Motor Traders has advised approval of the following events for the display of complete commercial vehicles and trailers, and of chassis to carry a minimum net load of 30 cwt.:—Royal Dublin Spring Show, Dublin, May 5-9; Munster Agricultural Show, Cork, June 24-25; Limerick Horse Show, Limerick, August.

Public Health Exibition.

The Public Health Exhibition, Royal Agricultural Hall, London, November 16-21, 1936, is approved for vehicles designed for, or especially equipped for, public-health service. Organizers: May and.Pattisson, Ltd., 13, Victbria Street, Landoll, S.W.1.

At the British Industries Fair, February 17-28, accessories, components, tyres and garage equipment may be displayed, subject to the qualification that vehicle or tractor components may not be shown by, or in the interests of, any vehicle or tractor maker.

The approval to the London Section is further qualified by the conditions that the inclusion of motor goods is incidental to the range of a bondsigner's non-motor exhibits falling within the schedule of trades applicable to the Section, and that the. motor goods exhibited do not represent the main production of an exiiibitar.
