BROWNS DISTRIBUTION, based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs, has invested nearly £100,000 in new trailers and forklift trucks.
The Tunstall company has acquired two double-deck trailers. each able to hold more than 60 pallets. They were built and supplied by Lawrence David.
Browns' fleet of forklift trucks has also been expanded with three new gas-powered models, all fitted with weighing devices that can weigh individual pallets.
Founded in 1955,B rowns Distribution remains family-owned. It has 60 stall; operates more than 30 vehicles and has been a member of Palletline since 2001, covering the ST. CW1 and CW2 postcode areas. It puts more than 700 pallets into the network every week.
