Traffic cops in South I Yorkshire are now able to tell drivers exactly what they think of them, without stopping or getting out of their vehicles. New threelitre vee-six Vauxhall Omega patrol cars are equipped to flash messages ranging from "pull over" to "have a nice day" (I'm sure this one will be in constant use-Ed). How long will it be before some motorists adapt their vehicles in a similar Fashion to reply to the police? And what will be the most popular greeting? I fear some may be tempted to use two, very short words.
