KEITH TAYLOR LOGISTICS (KTL) has acquired the assets of the SCS Group of companies, including SCS Logistics.
A spokeswoman for KTL, which is part of the TG Group, says it does not want to make any comment on the acquisition at this stage.
However, a statement on the company website says: "TG Group has embarked on a joint venture with an American venture capital business to create a pan-European logistics business.
"Keith Taylor Logistics is a full-service logistics provider, and is actively seeking to acquire logistics-related businesses located throughout the UK and Europe.
"We are particularly interested in businesses that are in administration, but are available for purchase as a going concern."
KTL specialises in warehousing, transport and distribution, road haulage and freight forwarding.
The company has just moved into a new, fully operational 105,000ft2 warehouse, which is based at a secure site in Northampton.
