SAM WHITTA10ER has been appointed truck sales and marketing director for MercedesBenz UK.
Whittaker left his role as national truck fleet sales manager to take over his new job on 1 August.
With 16 years' experience in the company, Whittaker will be expected to develop customer service delivery and strengthen dealer networks.
Whittaker replaces John Baker, who has been with the firm for 11 years. Baker will remain within the truck division until the end of the year in order to maintain a level of continuity.
