Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Following the introduction of the new Leyland double-deck bus body, Leyland Motors, Ltd., now announces an all-metal single-deck body of comparable design. Like the double-decker, it has a girdered cross-braced framework. Wooden fillets, secured by long wood screws, are used in the side pillars and facilitate the removal of the exterior panels. On the standard body, the inward sweep of the panels is continued to the skirt, but an alternative design in the form of a deep outward curved skirt is -available. A large destination indicator is built integral with the roof unit and a general cleaning up in design, especially in regard to the driver's cab and the front bulkhead, has been carried out.

An Inexpensive Battery Charger.

For charging 6-volt or 12-volt batteries from the A.C. mains supply, an apparatus which costs only £2 5s. has been introduced by the Manchester Magneto Co., 51, Hardman Street, Manchester, 3. It is called the Manmag trickle charger and incorporates

the Westinghouse metal rectifier. The charging rate is approximately I amp., the cost of running is about id. per night, and the device is guaranteed for 12 months.

Important Removal Appeal.

An appeal has been lodged with the Appeal Tribunal by Bristol furniture removers against the grant of a B licence for a furniture van to Bristol Co-operative Society, Ltd. This is an important appeal, as it affects many local furniture removers, and will be conducted by Mr. T. D. Corpe. CLASSES ON TRANSPORT SUBJECTS.

During the session 1936-37, which opens on September 21, the Wandsworth Technical Institute, High Street, London, S.W.'S, is conducting a series of classes on. transport subjects, _ certain of them equipping students for the Institute of Transport and the Royal Society of Arts examinations. In connection with these classes, a lecture is being held at the Institute on October 23, when Mr. J. Marchbank, general secretary of the speak on organization in transport.
