Aspray24 – the ‘24’ was added earlier this year to emphasise its next-day delivery credentials – is made up of three distinct divisions: Delivery, Logistics and International, although operations director Ian Barclay says he has the flexibility to “mix and match” resources between the three business units to make the best use of vehicles and drivers.
The Logistics division, set up in 2005, is based at its own purpose-built 70,000ft2 secure warehouse in Neachalls Lane just down the road from the company headquarters. Logistics handles any kind of goods, ranging from electrical items, to food, drink, manufactured products and component parts.
International was set up to handle the import and export of manufactured products in parcels or on pallets to or from anywhere in the world through the national and international network.
