Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BMC IS SHOWING live of its Megastar vans at the NEC ahead of an official launch sometime in the autumn.

BMC intends to bring 10 of the 22 derivatives into the UK from Turkey; it has earmarked more than 500 units in its first year.

The Megastar looks taller, narrower and longer than competitors already in the UK and the next six months will be spent building a network and service structure for future operators.

The vehicles on the stand are Turkish-spec; BMC UK expects changes to the vehicle before it arrives here, including righthand drive and a new name. Underpinning the van is the DaimlerChrysler VM 2.8-litre common-rail turbo-diesel rated at 112 and 130hp and driving the rear axle.

The lower rating comes with a live-speed Toyota transmission; the more powerful option has a six-speed ZF gearbox.

At the moment the UK importer is planning to tempt buyers with 24hr rescue, a three-year warranty and 20,000-mile service intervals.
