Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ON MY travels around the country I count the number of police cars I see on motorways, trunk roads and in cities and towris. The lowest is three.

I ask readers to keep a similar record for three days. and send copies to your local Police Commissioner, MP and Tony Blair and ask why we are knee deep in civil service pen pushers. Would the money be better spent putting more police on the roads to prevent crime? Or are they more interested in just raking in the revenue from speed cameras?
