Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AThe figures shown in the Commercial Motor Tables of Operating Costs do not provide for specialist types of vehicle, they are restricted to platform type vehicles. However, the costs for a heavy six-wheeler could be used as a basis and additional allowances made to compensate for the extra unladen weight, the extra initial capital cost and the extra value.

The cost tables figures for a heavy six Total operating cost per mile for 600 miles weekly is 18.41p and the total operating cost per week is £110.46 for the same mileage.

The items that would require adjustment for your purposes would mainly be licences, insurance and interest on capital under the standing cost heading and depreciation under running costs. Obviously additional maintenance costs would be incurred and extra fuel used if the mixer was not separately driven. If this was the case then separate costings would be needed for the auxiliary engine driving the mixer.
