T"plans by Albion Motors, Ltd., to build a factory in the Vale of Leven are in abeyance because they cannot come to terms With the Board of Trade.
They had already acquired a site at Gooseholm Farm, near Dumbarton, and the new-factory was to provide 1,100 jobs initially. But it can be taken that the plans have been only shelved. It is understood that at this stage "the Board of Trade terms are just not right."
