THE millionth Scottish-built Goodyear tyre was taken from its mould recently at the Glasgow plant of the company, which started operations in September, 1957. If all the tyres that made up their first million were laid end to end, say Goodyear-Scotland, they would stretch all the way from Glasgow to Dover.
