DRODUCTION has recently been started by The International Harvester Co. of Canada, Ltd., of two light commercial vehicles to challenge imports from the U.S. and Europe.
These vehicles, the first of their type to he wholly designed and engineered in Canada for mass production, will have 75 per cent. Canadian content. Both vehicles will be competitively priced, and it is reported that the pick-up will be about 128 below its nearest U.S. competitor.
