THE first vehicle of a total consignment of 24 complete single-deck buses being built for Karbala Transport Services, Iraq, was officially handed over last week. The buses are A.E.C. Rangers with Marshall-Mulliner bodies, and the handing-over ceremony took place at the Cambridge works of the coachbuilders, Marshall Motor Bodies, Ltd. Present were Mr. E. R. Hollands, director and general manager, A.E.C. (Saks), Ltd., Dr. Khalid Ali-Shawi, commercial attaché, Mr. Azmi, Press attaché and Major Lafta, assistant military attache, all from the Iraqi Embassy staff.
