Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

By Will Shiers A NEW FRENCH electric van is being sold in the UK by Croydon-based multifranchise dealer Kinghams.

The mia U (urban transport) is powered by either a 8kWh or 12kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, both of which are covered by a iveyear warrantee. Maximum ranges are 56 miles and 80 miles respectively, and the top speed is 68mph.

It can be fully charged in less than ive hours from a 230V/16A plug. Quick partial recharges are not a problem, and a 10-minute top-up will give an additional ive miles of driving.

Although it is primarily a single-occupancy vehicle (with a central driving seat), a second rear seat can be speciied from the options list, although this eats into the 53ft3 cargo area.

The van is accessed via twin sliding side doors and a rear hatchback. It has a kerb weight of 815kg and a maximum payload of 350kg. The plastic-bodied van is UTAC crash test-approved, and safety features include ABS, EBD and a driver’s airbag.

The vehicle is eligible for the Plug-in Van Grant, which gives purchasers 20% off the £16,000 purchase price.

Kinghams hopes to be able to offer a monthly lease package of £250 (including vehicle insurance).
