Viper Guard King Pin and Air Coupling locks
Trailer theft is on the increase in the UK so taking precautions when parked up makes sense.The King Pin lock from Viper Guard is designed to prevent the coupling of tractor to trailer and, according to the company, is simple to fit and remove. Made from hardened iron and finished in visible yellow,it is also fitted with a drill and pick-resistant lock, which can be keyed individually or alike to suit larger fleet users.
Also available is the Air Coupling lock.
Designed to fit on to a trailer's emergency coupling, it prevents the attachment of air hoses from a tractor unit to the trailer by locking on the trailer brakes and stopping the trailer being moved.
It can also be used to prevent trailer accidents in the loading bay.
