Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

chassis drove out of an assembly line and ran over his left foot. George Addison from Strathclyde was standing on the roadway discussing work with another employee when the vehicle's rear-side wheel hit him knocking him to the ground. Happily, at the time of the incident Addison was wearing a pair of safety boots with built-in steel two caps.

He was rushed to hospital after the accident where he was found to be suffering from severe bruising to the left leg and foot but he was not detained and was able to return home that evening.

The built-in steel toe cap of his safety boots clearly saved him from a crippling injury and a severely smashed foot with the probable loss of his toes. Instead, after eighteen days, he was able to return to work.

This is a classic case which illustrates the importance of wearing safety footwear while at work.

In recognition of his good sense in wearing these and as an example to his workmates, Addison has been awarded membership of the Golden Shoe Club. This independent foot safety organisation is nom profit making and is financed by most of the leading manufacturers of safety footwear. I believe that it is making a major contribution to safety in the workplace by bringing our attention to stories such as that of the very fortunate Addison.
