• Union representatives from the Transport and General Workers Union were due to meet with Abbey Hill management last Wednesday to discuss TNT's proposed purchase of the troubled car transporter company.
Abbey Hill was not prepared to say anything about the meeting and referred all enquiries to TNT. At the time of going to press no-one from TNT was available to comment about what was to be discussed at the meeting.
