• A decision is being reserved on a renewal application by T Roberts (Haulage Contractors) Limited of Sheffield following representations from local residents.
The company was seeking renewal of its international licence for 36 vehicles and 35 trailers based at Lodge Lane, Aston, Sheffield. There were objections on environmental grounds from 36 local residents, five of whom appeared at a public enquiry before North Eastern deputy Licensing Authority Norman Moody. Moody will give his decision on September 17 following a site visit.
