• Ford dealers in Britain are now able to supply and install cellular radio telephones into the full range of Ford commercial vehicles and cars.
earphone will supply Ford with cellular telephones and all Ford dealers will be trained by earphone on the installation and servicing of the equipment.
Administration of the operation will be undertaken by a new organisation, Ford Telecommunications, which will be responsible for the monthly billing of customers.

channels.
Both Cellnet and Racal Vodafone have allocations of 300
channels in London. hut the DTI is now providing each operator with a further 200 channels, with 120 more channels available if necessary.
The allocation of the new radio channels should make it easier for cellular telephone customers to make call connections in London.
