Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LONDON COUNTRY is taking on British Rail by introducing a new Green Line fast commuter service between Guildford and Central London.

The service, which will run in direct competition with British Rail's Southern Region commuter trains will take approximately 70 minutes for the journey to Victoria.

Coaches will pick up at three points in the Guildford area, and drop off at four in London. The service will leave at 0730 and 1030 on weekday mornings and return at 1500 and 1730 hours, although apassengers missing the 1730 express will be able to use a range of slower limited-stop Green Line coaches, the last of which leaves London at 2223 hours.

A day return ticket for the new service, number 740, will be £2.50. The rail fare is £4.40. Passengers travelling on the later coach can take advantage of a cheap day return of £1.95 to compete with BR's £2.50.

The service started on September 1, a full month before the Transport Act is due to allow increases in unlicensed competition.
