1RTE conference
• The Institute of Road Transport Engineers is celebrating its 50th anniversary with Tecon International '94—a major transport engineering conference.
The event has the theme "Living with Technology", and will be held on 30 October to 1 November at the Queen Elizabeth Conference Centre in London.
Topics will include vehicle security, mobile communications, vehicle management systems, alternative fuels, truck lighting and vehicle engineering.
The full delegate fee is £345 (inc-VAT) and the oneday delegate fee is £230 (inc-VAT).
